Dr. Apte is the Dean of Ayuvidya College of America. She has an integrated degree in Ayurvedic and Allopathic (conventional) medicine from the University of Poona, India (1973) and an MS degree in Biomedical Sciences (Pharmacology) from the University of North Texas (1991). Dr. Jay Apte is one of the very few India trained Ayurvedic Doctors here in US who has 17 years of experience in running Ayurvedic schools and more than 30 years of clinical practice.
Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar, B.A.M.S, MD (Ayurveda)
Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar is a world-renowned Ayurvedic expert and educator from India, born of a traditional Rig Vedic family. He holds an Masters Degree in Ayurveda, with a Gold Medal from Pune University in India. Suhas is one of the most academically accomplished ayurvedic professionals in the US who has traveled worldwide popularizing Ayurveda, setting up clinics, offering courses for both medical professionals and laypersons, and has provided Ayurvedic consultations for thousands of patients. He is an internationally acclaimed motivational speaker and a visiting professor at various Ayurvedic schools and universities worldwide. He is an Advisor and Consultant for the Chopra Center University. He has been featured n numerous radio and television shows, including Dr. OZ, NBC. He is an experienced clinician and an insightful Vedic counselor who adds tremendous value to his clients and students alike. He is an internationally acclaimed researcher, best selling author, and formulator and consultant to various nutraceutical companies. He is the lead formulator of Zrii Achieve, Accell, and Rise & Purify. He is currently the Director of “Ayurvedic Healing” an Integrative Wellness Clinic in Santa Cruz, California.
Mamta Landerman, CAS, PKS
Mamta Landerman is a Clinical Ayurveda and Pancha Karma Specialist. She is the Founding President of CAAM and served on the Board for five years. She produced three Ayurveda conferences bringing together various lineages of Ayurveda in the U.S. to sow seeds for the future vision of the Ayurvedic profession in this country. Currently she is a freelance Ayurvedic Teacher, an accomplished Vedic Astrologer.
Asavari Manvikar, B.A.M.S., MD (Ayurveda)

Dr. Asavari Manvikar received her BAMS degree in 1995 and MD degree in 2000 from Pune University in India. In India, she had an Ayurvedic practice and was teaching in BSDT’s Ayurvedic collage and Research Center from 2001 to 2003. Dr. Asavari is currently conducting workshops in Ayurvedic preventive medicine and psychology and teaching Ayurvedic classes in community centers at Eden Prairie and Hopkins.
Rashana Sharma, BHMS, AWP, CCH

Dr. Rashana R. Sharma is the assistant director at AyuVidya College of America. She holds a Homeopathic degree from Delhi University, India and a graduate certification as an Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner from Kerala Ayurveda. Dr. Rashana is also a Reiki Master. She is an ardent believer of complementary therapies and incorporates Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Reiki in her practice. She has helped many people gain health, happiness and healing using these natural alternatives. She has given numerous talks and seminars to spread awareness about complementary health. She is a mother of two lovely kids and does charity work to help kids in Nepal.
Sunita Tarkunde, BAMS, RN

Sunita has a Master’s degree in Ayurveda; the ancient and leading herbal medicine science in the world. She is practicing Ayurveda since last 20 years. She graduated from Pune University, India with bachelor’s degree (BAMS) in 1992. She is a registered nurse in the state of Texas and has good work experience in Methodist Hospital Emergency Room. She is also a faculty member at ‘Ayurveda Academy’ where they teach in–depth Ayurveda courses in the USA.
Sunita is a gifted healer, accomplished Ayurvedic practitioner and certified Yoga instructor. Her specialties are wellness counseling & body constitution, Ayurvedic Pulse Assessment, Yoga, Lifestyle management, Stress management, Weight Loss programs, Herbal remedies, Skin care, Panchakarma therapies (Natural detoxification & rejuvenation), Pranayama etc.
Sunita’s hallmark is her gentle, thorough way of working with clients to maintain or regain full vibrant, radiant health of body, mind and spirit.
Dr. Annapurni (Anu) Ramasubramanian, BAMS, MD
